Bagnalls Beach Reserve & Bartlett Cycleway

This is one of those walks that surprises people. A beautifully paved 2.2 km path winds through coastal trees with Bagnalls Beach running right alongside — close enough that you can step off onto the sand whenever you like. The path is completely flat and ideal for all fitness levels, families with prams, and dog owners. The shade from the trees makes it a pleasant choice even on warmer days. The full return walk is around 4.4 km and takes approximately 50–60 minutes at a relaxed pace. The walk ends near The Anchorage Port Stephens Hotel, where you can reward yourself with a drink or meal overlooking the marina.
