If you've brought your dog on holiday (or just love the sight of happy dogs on a beach), this easy coastal walk is for you. Starting at Dutchmans Beach, the walk follows the shoreline south to Bagnalls Beach — a beautiful stretch of sand where dogs are welcome off-lead. The terrain is mostly flat, making it a comfortable walk for all ages and fitness levels. The walk takes around 20–30 minutes one way. Dog owners note: Bagnalls Beach is one of the few formal off-lead dog areas in Nelson Bay — bring a ball!
